Hello dearest space miners,
The proofs have arrived!!
Yep, it's with giddy excitement that we've finally received the proofs for the game and everything is looking supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. I could go on trying to find words for our enthusiasm, but wouldn't you just prefer a video or two?? Okay, well here they are:
Lifeform Base Game Unboxing:
And not to forget the gorgeous expansions:
And here are the box dimensions for those who are interested:
Lifeform box 268x353x63mm
Dragon's Domain 315 x 230 x 45mm
13th Passenger 375 x 235 x 45mm
This means printing is going to finish soon - we'll iron out the timescales for shipping and fulfilment in the next update, but that's all for now. Watch those corridors, keep your flame unit burning, and remember
In the vast, forbidden seas of space... Terror stirs.

Happy New Year everybody!!
It's only a couple of days after new year so I think we can still get away with saying that...
A bit of a break from the norm for this update - we'll return to written ramblings for future updates - I've put together a 20 minute video telling you where we're up to and what to expect from Hall or Nothing in 2019. So when you get chance, grab a brew and maybe put a more interesting screensaver on to watch than my phizog whilst you catch up with us:
Have a brilliant 2019 everyone!

+++ Proximity Alert! Proximity Alert! Asteroid collision in 5, 4, 3... +++
How does this merry December day find you space-farers? Well, stop your grinnin' and drop your linen cos we are...
Off to print!!
That's it - genius game design boffin Mark Chaplin has now finished and approved the files for submission to the printers, so our graphic designers and manufacturers are presumably wrestling with each other to be the first to find things that will pull a hole in this ship and blow us all to kingdom come! As is my limited understanding of the whole print-readying process...
In actual terms this means we're aiming for Quarter 1, 2019 delivery for all of your goodies.
Boxes!!
Here's some pics of the expansion boxes:
Playmat!!
We've upgraded playmats to get brighter colours and nice stitched edges to help eradicate wear and tear - we've also rejigged the deck plans too, to help readability, and delineate the 3 decks (A, B and C) more easily. These new babies are da bomb:
Shadows of Kilforth: February 2019!!
Now that the printing of Lifeform has begun, we're just a few short months away from the games and expansions finally arriving in your hands. We've also submitted the print files for our landmark game Gloom of Kilforth and its expansions, which will be landing in Quarter 1 next year too. And our second game 1066, Tears to Many Mothers has just landed in backers' hands to fantastic reviews too.
Next year we'll be launching 1565, St Elmo's Pay (the successor to 1066, TtMM) and Sublime Dark (a gruesome horror game), but first we'll be launching Shadows of Kilforth: A Fantasy Quest Game (previously known as Touch of Death).
So it is with delight and giddiness that I can tell you we're going to hit the launch button for our next game Shadows of Kilforth in February next year!
To those waiting for Lifeform first instead: that's totally cool too, just don't mind us whilst we crack on, and hopefully we'll see you in the pledge manager later on once you have fallen in love with your evil alien goodies...
Right oh, that's the end of this transmission. And just remember:
In the vast, forbidden seas of space... Terror stirs...
Take good care of yourselves peeps!

Hello spacefarers!
Welcome to our Halloween update, and to the next stage in the voyage of the doomed star-faring vessel Valley Forge.
FILES!!
Just a quick one today. We're looking at 90% completion and approval on the final game files from Mark Chaplin, which means we've already started sharing them with the printers. Mark has finished up the expansion designs and we've cooked up all the extra art images we need for the new decks and boards and cards (see below). We're just coming off the back of a lengthy submission process for our other game Gloom of Kilforth too. So our graphic design guru Darren is totally in the right head-space for submitting print-ready files right now as it's his daily bread and butter. He's even developed a short-hand for communicating with the factory more effectively - he speaks to them in binary code. At least that's my understanding of the magic that takes place in such exchanges...
In any case, here's a quick teaser of some of the art from recently even more sexified (see previous update) expansion 13th Passenger:
And below is an example crisis card from the 13th Passenger. Note that if you manage to gain the card you simply rotate it to show the card's new effect - a neat little touch:
I'll leave you here for now, it looks like the oxygen level on your suit is running low, and that flame unit has only enough left for one blast, so look sharp, and stay frosty...

In space, no one can eat ice cream...
(Name the film!)
HAPPY HALLOWEEN PEEPS!!

Some people call me the space cowboy - some call me the dinner of Life(form)...
And that's just one reason why I never became a songwriter. Luckily, it's my job to bring you great games and ohemgee is Meester Mark Chaplin making this game even greater for you! He has been beavering away in his dungeon and come up with some cool new ideas. So many in fact that we hope to revisit the game and some new, new expansions next year. But in the meantime, and to enhance the solo game even further, we've only gone and...
Added NINE (9) New Solo Game Cards to the Thirteenth Passenger expansion at no extra charge!!
Talk about value add. What can I say? We just got excited about the release of a new Predator movie and couldn't stop ourselves!
Progress is continuing nicely - we've ironed out all of the base game components and we're prepping the final files for the base game already. The expansions are a little trickier but we're still leaping ahead with those as well, with the rulebooks coming in to shape already and the remaining graphical elements coming in steadily too...
New Art!!
Okay so we already spoiled tons of the art, but it's only because we love you - so here's the Shuttle Launch Board from the Dragon's Domain expansion too, following the same graphical display design as the Motion Tracker:
New improved rulebook!!
The new rulebook is ready for your perusal and we've managed to bring down that whacking page count by tightening the wording, reducing some of the art spreads, losing some repetition, and sprinkling plenty of editorial magic dust to trim a whopping 8 pages. To wit - your new Lifeform rulebook:
The Lifeform solo expansion rules for the crazy popular Dragon's Domain are now available for your perusal too - please note that they are still a Work In Progress so there are icons missing here and there - we're about 90% finished with these so feel free to chip in with your comments and typo spots if you have any as there's still time to change stuff if needs be. The Thirteenth Passenger rules will follow soon as they are nearly ready too.
I'm very much looking forward to attending Essen again, and will be demoing my other game 1066, Tears to Many Mothers at the Schwerkraft-Verlag stand, so please come and say hello if you happen to be at the show. It will be great to see you there. And I'm looking forward to stalking my heroes again like in 2017 - can't believe it's been a year already...
